Geophysical Surveys
Geophysical surveys are non-intrusive procedures to determine unknown subsurface conditions (such as the location of buried tanks). BEC personnel are experienced with the following types of geophysical techniques and their application to the environmental industry: magnetics, gravity, seismic profiling, ground penetrating radar (GPR), electrical surveys, resistivity surveys and geophysical well logging. Typically, geophysical data are correlated with drilling data or test pit data or used to map physical anomalies for intrusive investigation.
